LAHORE: Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) MD Amjad Latif has said that gas supply to as many as 6,000 industrial units all across the country has been suspended until March 2018.
He said that sui gas is going to be supplied to the residential areas instead, adding that industrial units can make use of RLNG gas until the said time.
Authorities seized around 150 gas compressors in raids conducted in Lahore.
He said that the major reason why these measures are being taken presently is that they do not want any gas shortage in residential areas during the winter period.
