Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) is considering suspending flight operations along the Karachi to Mumbai route, according to the PIA Spokesperson Daniyal Gillani, however a final decision is yet to be taken.
The spokesperson has dismissed media reports however, that suggest that the operations are being suspended due to the tense relations that the two countries have at the moment. The spokesperson asserted that the reasons behind the move are “purely economical”.
The spokesperson added that the flights along the Karachi-New Delhi route will continue as per operations.
