Zardari takes notice of irrigation staff protest

KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chief Asif Ali Zardari has taken notice of the protests by employees of Sindh Irrigation Department

The PPP head issued directives to Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah for resolution of their grievances.

Former President asked the chief minister to depute a minister for holding talks with the protesting employees to hear details of their genuine problems for urgent solutions.

He said that the PPP is a democratic party, which will ensure the protection of the rights of every Pakistani without any kind of discrimination.
