Federal cabinet approves electoral reforms

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif chaired the Federal Cabinet meeting in Islamabad today and approved electoral reforms.

The meeting was held to consider a 32-point agenda including electoral reforms, the establishment of Ehtesab, Repatriation and Management Policy for Afghan Refugees.

The cabinet will also consider a report of the Cabinet Committee constituted for people affected by Indian firing on the working boundary.

The meeting would review the plan for construction of 500, 250 and 100-bed hospitals across the country and Establishment of Health Infrastructure Development and Management Company (HIDMC).

It will also discuss a proposal for medical treatment of poor and deserving citizens suffering from fatal diseases including kidney, liver, bone-marrow transplant and cancers.
