Three children died and their parents became unconscious when the fire broke out in a house in Lyari area here on Tuesday.
Kalri Police Station SHO Nisar Ahmed Lodhi said that early morning then fire broke out in a house at Nayabad, Lyari, due to short circuit. According to Edhi sources, the deceased children were identified as Amna, Abdul Aziz and Ayan. They died of smoke as the windows and doors were closed.
Their father Umair and mother Shamim Bibi were found unconscious. They were shifted to Civil Hospital. The bodies were also shifted to same hospital. Fire brigade officials said that two fire tender controlled over the fire.
