A man strangled his newly-wed daughter to death for demanding divorce from her husband in village of Thatta Bahadur Singh.
According to sources, Hakim Ali’s daughter, Iram Shahzad, got married to Hifazat Ali but returned to her parents’ house on the second day due to some reason which she did not disclose to anyone.
When her husband came to take her back with him she refused to go and asked for divorce. Enraged, her father grabbed her by the neck and strangled her to death.
Police have registered a case and started an investigation.
