A two-member bench of the Islamabad High Court comprising Justice Noorul Haq N Qureshi and Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddique will take up on Thursday a petition seeking the annulment of the bail granted to Mumbai attacks’ alleged mastermind Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi.
An anti-terrorism court in Rawalpindi had granted bail to Lakhvi after the prosecution fail to prove charges levelled against him.
The Punjab government has, however, detained Lakhvi under the maintenance of public order.
The FIA has challenged Lakhvi’s bail in the Islamabad High Court.
