Goods transporters Rawalpindi have announced to reduce transportation charges by seven percent.
The announcement was made after talks were held between Punjab Transport Secretary Shaukat Ali and goods transporters. Secretary transport met representatives of public transport and goods forwarding.
Secretary transport asked the transporters to reduce the fares and transportation charges due to reduction in the petroleum products prices.
The representatives of goods forwarding announced to slash seven percent transportation charges. Secretary transport said that license will be issued for goods forwarding in future. Goods transporters stand will be constructed.
