No ‘mujras’ in Parliament lodges, claims Nisar

Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has declared the claims made by an independent member of the National Assembly (MNA) Jamshed Dasti as “baseless”.

Addressing a National Assembly session, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said that there is a record of CCTV video of several months of the parliament lodges. He asked to identify the day when immoral activity took place.

The minister said that all vehicles except of MNAs and the senators are thoroughly checked. He said that the parliament lodges are home to the parliamentarians, where their families are also residing.

He said that security officials told him that Mujras (dance parties) are not held in the parliament lodges. Security personnel have been doubled in the parliament lodges, he added.
