Hafiz Saeed wants govt to address Balochistan issue immediately

Jamaatud Dawa chief Hafiz Saeed on Tuesday said the government should immediately take steps to resolve the issues being face by the people of Balochistan.

Talking to journalists after a meeting with Jamhoori Watan Party (JWP) chief Talal Akbar Bugti in Lahore, the JuD chief said the government could no longer cause delay in addressing the Balochistan problem.

During the meeting, Saeed and Bugti discussed the security situation in Balochistan, as well as the political situation of the country.

“The government should take immediate steps to resolve the issues confronting the Baloch people. Any further delay would further increase difficulties,” said Hafiz Saeed.

Saeed added that there should be no military operation in Balochistan.
