Supreme Court (SC) reserved ruling on president’s references in IHC judges appointment case on Friday, a private TV channel reported.
A five-member bench of the court comprising Justice Khilji Arif Hussain, Justice Ejaz Afzal Khan, Justice Tariz Pervaiz, Justice Azmat Saeed and Justice Gulzar Ahmed was hearing the concluding arguments in the case.
Earlier on Thursday, the court had said that recommendations made by Judicial Commission and Parliamentary Committee were final in the appointment of judges and that president could not use his discretionary powers in this regard.
