Court of District and Sessions Judge Peshawar has rejected plea by provincial minister for sports Syed Aqil Shah seeking adjournment in the hearing of fake degree case against him.
The court took up the petition filed by the petitioner praying for putting off the hearing of the case Tuesday.
Counsel for Syed Aqil Shah contended that the case against the educational institution which had issued fake degree was pending hearing in a local court in Punjab, therefore, hearing of the case be adjourned till the decision of the case.
The court adjourned the hearing of the case till January, 8.
