Khattak Ittehad (KI) on Monday threatened to stop the logistic support of oil and gas exploration companies if the FIR registered against their elders was not withdrawn and shortage of health staff was not ended in hospitals. This was demanded in an emergency meeting of KI at Town Hall after end of doctors’ strike. The meeting criticised registration of FIR against elders at the Karak Police Station for locking hospitals and insulting doctors and demanded that FIRs be lodged against those health officials, who were not performing their duties and observed an unlawful strike for three days.
