A Frontier Corps Balochistan officer was killed and another injured in a landmine explosion in Dera Bugti on Thursday. According to reports, two FC personnel Faratullah and Wali Khan were going to get water at Maro area when one of them stepped on a landmine, which exploded.
As a result, Faratullah died on the spot while Wali was injured and shifted to hospital. Separately, unidentified men blew up a main junction gas pipeline at Dera Bugti, suspending gas supply to a purification plant in Sui. Levies officials said that an explosive was attached with the gas pipeline, which detonated due to which gas supply was suspended.
