It’s a romantic comedy for Madhavan opposite the sizzling and still single Bipasha Basu after his latest blockbuster ‘Tanu Weds Manu’.
The actress, after her break-up with John Abraham and friendly encounters with Hollywood star Josh Hartnett, will now be a part of a reel life love story.
As per sources, the film was brought to Madhavan right after the success of ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ “He quite liked the idea and was also excited when he got to know that Bipasha was being approached to play the lead. Though they have known each other, the actors have never worked together,” the source informed.
Bipasha’s rom-com stints in the past are long forgotten. While she had done a cameo in ‘Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai,’ her only full role in a romantic comedy before this was in ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’.
The film goes on floors in July and if things go as planned, the movie will release early next year.
