Sialkot, Karachi notch wins in Women’s U-19 Cricket

LAHORE: Sialkot, Rawalpindi, Karachi and Hyderabad registered wins in the National Women Under-19 T20 Cricket Championship at the Lahore Country Club, Muridke, on Tuesday. Sialkot women won by two wickets against Peshawar with Saima Maqsood doing well by getting three wickets for the winners. Sadia Khaliq cracked 73 of 41 balls to steer Rawalpindi to a comprehensive 109- run win over Quetta.
Karachi prevailed over Abbottabad though the latter put up good resistance. Abbottabad managed 77 runs before losing by five wickets. Hyderabad had to go full length to beat Islamabad by three runs.
