LAHORE – Punjab bagged five gold and two silver medals to win the PSB Inter-Provincial Youth U-14 Wrestling Championship 2011 held here at National Hockey Stadium, Lahore. Punjab won with 68 points on board. Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa came second with two gold medals (61 points), while Sindh and Balochistan secured third position with 57 points each. LAHORE – The first round of the PSB Inter Provincial U-14 Wrestling Championship started here at the National Hockey Stadium, Lahore. Teams from all the four provinces are participating.
On the opening day, in the 32 kgs category, Mohammad Faizan of Sindh thrashed Mohammed Amir Hamza of KPK, and Rashid of Punjab beat Mohammed Umair of Balochistan. In 35 kgs, Azitullah of Balochistan defeated Usama of KPK while Mohammed Waqas of Punjab defeated Imran of Sindh. In 38 kgs,
LAHORE – The weighing of the U-14 wrestlers was held here at the National Hockey Stadium ahead of the PSB Youth U-14 Wrestling Championship 2011 Lahore.
The managers’ meeting and scrutiny was also held to finalise the rules and regulations of the championship. The competitions will start on March 22 here at the National Hockey Stadium.
LAHORE – The Inter-Provincial Youth Under-14 Wrestling Championship will be held on March 22 and 23. The participating teams will report on March 20 here at the National Hockey Stadium, Lahore. The teams are Sindh, KPK, Azad Kashmir, Islamabad, Fata, Balochistan and Punjab.
LAHORE – The training and coaching camp for the Inter-Provincial Youth U14 Wrestling Championship will be held under the Punjab Sports Board from March 5 to 19 at the National Hockey Stadium, Lahore. The camp will be organised for the selection of the wrestlers for PSB Inter-Provincial Youth U14 Wrestling Championship, which is going to be held on March 21-23.
