ISLAMABAD – Four universities of public and private sectors are operating in the country without acquiring no-objection certificate (NOC) from the Higher Education Commission (HEC), which is mandatory for a university to award degrees.

SAFMA slams NoC condition

ISLAMABAD – Criticizing the decision of the government that artists, writers, journalists and civil society activists must obtain No Objection Certificate (NoC) from the Ministry of Interior prior to their visits abroad, particularly to India, South Asian Free Media Association (SAFMA) has called for immediate withdrawal of the condition.

LHC objects on petition against NOC requirement
