Former Punjab poll chief confesses making rigging report

Responding to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)’s lawyer Abdul Hafeez Pirzada during a meeting of the Judicial Commission probing alleged rigging in General Elections 2013, former Punjab election commissioner (EC) Mehboob Anwar Tuesday confessed making a report on poll rigging.

JC invites political parties to make their case on rigging

In its first meeting, chaired by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Nasirul Mulk and attended by Justice Ameer Hani Muslim and Justice Ejaz Afzal Khan, the General Election 2013 Inquiry Commission Thursday invited proposals from the political parties who participated in the 2013 polls to make submissions on alleged rigging.
