TOKYO: Japan’s top business lobby on Tuesday hailed a government plan to shave five percentage points off corporate tax as “a first step” towards revitalising the nation’s fragile economy.

KARACHI: Two employees of the Japanese consulate in Karachi were injured when unidentified assailants opened fire on a vehicle of the consulate in Artillery Maidan police precincts on Thursday.
