LAHORE – Judicial magistrate Irfan Basra on Tuesday handed over Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) Member of the Provincial Assembly (MPA) Chaudhry Moonis Elahi’s business manager Abdul Malik to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on physical remand until January 4.
Malik was arrested on Monday during a raid at the Al-Tahoor Private Limited’s office located in Garden Town.

Police bust gang of car thieves

LAHORE – Lahore Iqbal Town Division anti-Vehicles Lifting Staff (AVLS) on Tuesday claimed arresting notorious ringleader of the Tariq Javeed Shah car thief gang and recovered 13 cars, a tractor and motorcycle worth Rs 7.4 million from their possession.
The criminal confessed stealing 12 cars, one tractor and motorcycle from Lahore, two cars from Mirpur, Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) and five cars from Rawalpindi during preliminary interrogation.

‘Teachers’ observed – School teachers removed from service in 2010
