NA panel stresses fiscal prudence, transparency

ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly Standing Committee on Planning, Development and Special Initiatives on Monday emphasised fiscal prudence and greater transparency in national development planning, according to a statement.

The committee held a detailed discussion on issues linked to ongoing and proposed infrastructure schemes in different parts of the country. The matters taken up included the status of the bridge project between Peer Mahal and Mian Channu, the statement said.
