LAHORE: A Lahore Police constable, Asim Raza, has brought honour and pride to Pakistan by clinching a gold medal and earning a Pro Card at the prestigious World Fitness Federation (WFF) Universe 2025 Championship held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The global bodybuilding event drew participants from 27 countries, where Raza excelled in the Amateur Men’s Classic Bodybuilding Performance category. Displaying exceptional strength, form, and discipline, he outperformed top contenders from South Africa, Russia, and India to secure the top position.
In recognition of his outstanding feat, Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Lahore Bilal Siddique Kamyana congratulated the champion athlete and presented him with a certificate of appreciation.
Commending Raza’s achievement, the CCPO said that his hard work, perseverance, and discipline had earned international recognition for both Pakistan and the Lahore Police. He lauded the growing number of police athletes achieving distinction on international platforms, terming their success a reflection of the force’s positive, dynamic, and progressive image.
Kamyana further emphasized that promoting sports within the police ranks not only highlights a softer and people-friendly image of the department but also motivates the youth to pursue healthy, constructive, and goal-oriented activities.
