Gandapur assures development measures for D.I. Khan, southern districts

DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sardar Ali Amin Khan Gandapur has assured residents of southern districts, including Dera Ismail Khan, that solid measures are being implemented to address their developmental needs.

The chief minister made these remarks while interacting with local dignitaries, party workers, and citizens at his residence on the second day of Eidul Azha on Sunday.

During these meetings, local residents raised various concerns and requested the government to prioritize development initiatives. The chief minister responded by assuring the public that concrete steps would be taken to resolve their issues.

Gandapur emphasized that the development of Dera Ismail Khan and other southern districts was a top priority for his government. Addressing concerns in the health and education sectors, Gandapur revealed that the provincial government was focusing on upgrading hospitals, ensuring the availability of medicines, and making basic health units functional. In education, the government is rehabilitating schools, introducing modern teaching methods, and recruiting new teachers to improve the quality of education.

The chief minister also noted several initiatives aimed at providing direct relief to the public, including subsidy programs, creating employment opportunities, establishing low-cost markets, and ensuring the digital delivery of public services.

With these efforts, Gandapur assured that residents would soon experience significant improvements, with better access to basic services and an overall uplift in living standards.
