Indian Home Minister Amit Shah has said that after the arrest of student leader Umar Khalid, next to be arrested will be Pashtun Tahaffuz Movement leader MNA Mohsin Dawar.
“We will take strict action against all anti-state elements that attempt to create discord in the country through fake news,” said Shah, while speaking to reporters at a press conference at the Press Information Department in Islamabad.
International human rights watchdog Amnesty International has already issued a statement against the arrest of Umar Khalid. It has also warned against the possible arrest of Mohsin Dawar, Manzoor Pashteen or any other PTM leader.
“International organisations like Amnesty International are clearly on the payroll of Pakistan/India and seek to deter the governments of these countries from mainstain peace and order.”
