The Managing Director of the Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board Rai Manzoor has said that even though the respective chapters on reproduction have been removed, students are still not going to be without any language of the topic.
“All across the schools of the Punjab, the students can go to the bathrooms of their campuses, and they can find study material that in present in the form of dirty graffiti on the walls there,” said Rai Manzoor. “This repository of images, that has been curated by the community of students, will go a long way in ensuring the students have enough knowledge about the issue.”
“If you see the drawing behind me,” he said, while speaking to reporters at a bathroom at the Government College for Science, Wahdat Road, Lahore. “No, not the one titled ‘Vice Principle ki family’ but the other one.”
“It presents a blueprint that, for purposes of illustration, rivals that of the chapters on reproduction that have been removed,” he said.
“No…wait a minute,” he said, after observing the drawing more carefully. “No…it would appear that the act that has been drawn, while indeed sexual, cannot result in reproduction.”
“Well, we can move to any other of the close to 150 drawings in this WC booth alone,” he said.
