Sindh’s coronavirus relief dissemination a corrupted process: reports

KHAIRPUR: The Sindh government is distributing coronavirus relief goods, including cash and ration, across the province but only to chosen few, local media outlets reported on Sunday.

According to the details, this scene was reported in Ranipur area which is under strict lockdown restrictions under the cloak of the night as the goods were given to well-connected people at 1am.

Earlier on April 3, Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM-P) had aired serious reservations on the Sindh government’s relief goods dissemination amidst a coronavirus triggered lockdown.

MQM-P stalwart and former federal minister for Information Technology, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, claimed that the provincial government is busy making the coronavirus pandemic a political gimmick.

“Is this the time to play politics or help the effected masses?” he had said.
