ISLAMABAD – Faisal Vawda was arrested in Islamabad during the late hours of Thursday night by officials of Capital Territory Police, after allegedly catching the Federal Minister for Water Resources in compromising position with his own footwear, The Dependent has reliably learnt.
According to the officials, they saw the cabinet minister doing ‘dirty things’ with ‘at least one boot’ inside his own car after which they duly intervened.
“Given the things that were happening in the car we followed our usual protocol and asked him for a nikkahnama,” said one of the two officials who arrested Vawda, unaware of his position as a federal minister.
“After realising that he wasn’t with a person, but with a boot, we asked that if he doesn’t have a nikkahnama he needs to showcase receipt of some sort to prove his relationship with the footwear,” added the second official.
The police officials maintained that Vawda continued to claim that the footwear was his, and rightfully belonged to him, but provided no evidence for the claim.
“Also, it was suspicious that there was only one boot. A threesome would’ve been the logical way to go about it, given the circumstances,” noted the first official.
Vawda was released after a call from the higher-ups, prompting the two officials to regret not having asked for a bribe when the culprit had been caught boot-handed.
