ISLAMABAD: Ambassador of Saudi Arabia in Pakistan Nawaf Bin Said Al-Malki called on Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar at the Punjab House, Islamabad, on Thursday and discussed with him matters of mutual interest.
Speaking on the occasion, Usman Buzdar said that Pakistan-Saudi Arabia relations are linked in deep-rooted religious and socio-cultural norms adding that Saudi Arabia has always stood with Pakistan. On the other side, he pointed out that Pakistanis have a deep-rooted attachment with Saudi Arabia and the people are conjoined in the bonds of brotherhood and harmony.
The hearts of the people of both the countries beat in unison, people also share each other’s joys and agonies, he said, adding that it is sanguine that Saudi Arabia has always extended full support to Pakistan on the diplomatic front.
The chief minister expressed the satisfaction that relations between Pakistan-Saudi Arabia are touching new heights during the incumbent government.
Saudi Ambassador Mr Nawaf Al-Malki said, on this occasion, that Saudi Arabia gives special importance to its relations with Pakistan and added that friendly relations are being strengthened with every passing day. Saudi Arabia and Pakistan have sided with each other like brothers and this relation will be further strengthened. He also appreciated the steps taken for public welfare in Punjab.
