KARACHI: More than 3000 stray dogs were killed within a month in the city, secretary local government submitted a report before Sindh High Court (SHC) on Friday.
An SHC bench heard a petition filed by a citizen against lack of anti-rabies vaccines in the metropolitan. The secretary local government submitted a report before the bench and informed it that more than 3000 stray dogs were killed within a month in the city.
The Task Force opposed to killing dogs through the capsule. “It is terrible to kill dogs through capsules,” the secretary informed the bench.
The report stated that a dog might be mad if it did not die after capsule.
The report further stated that all District Municipal Corporations (DMC) were given Rs76 million for the anti-dog campaign.
