KARACHI: Three members of a banned outfit were arrested from the PIB area of Karachi by Jamshed Quarter Police on Tuesday, media reported.
During the raid, police recovered two hand grenades, one Kalashnikov, two pistols of 30 bore with rounds, electric detonator material and detonating card from their possession.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) East Ghulam Azfar Meahsar said that the accused were identified as Muhammad Zakir, son of Muhammad Akther, Adnan Waqar alias Jerra, son of Jamal Ahmed Siddique and Noman alias Bubble mullah, son of Abdul Rasheed.
He said Zakir received the training of using and maintaining weapons a few months ago.
During the initial interrogation, the accused confessed of being involved in several killings in the different parts of the metropolis.
