ISLAMABAD: Maulana Fazl ur Rehman, who is the Ameer of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) said on Saturday that he does not support the presence of militant groups in the country.
Speaking during an interview, Fazl ur Rehman called for rounding up the non-state militant groups in the country.
However, the Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) leader said that if possible, such organizations should be mainstreamed.
Appreciating the politics of chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, he said that he has asked former president Asif Ali Zardari to put Bilawal under his mentorship.
