ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi is scheduled to for China on four-day visit mainly to attend the First Pakistan-China Foreign Ministers’ Strategic Dialogue.
Both sides will hold comprehensive discussions on the entire range of bilateral relations, including the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and will also discuss the regional situation and cooperation at multilateral fora, a Foreign Office press statement said on Sunday.
Qureshi will also address Political Parties Forum on CPEC and participate in the ruling parties’ dialogue between the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and the Communist Party of China during the visit. He will also call on the Chinese leadership.
The foreign minister’s visit would add momentum to close and broad-based bilateral ties, and reinforce efforts to deepen economic engagement under CPEC, the statement added.
