LAHORE: Imprisoned former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif underwent a brief medical check-up in Kot Lakhpat jail in Lahore on Wednesday.
Nawaz, who is serving a seven-year term in Kot Lakhpat Jail in connection with the infamous Panamagate, complained of a headache and throat infection. Upon which a medical team briefly visited him in the jail premises. The ousted Prime Minister was diagnosed with a low fever. Doctors suggested him to take rest and exercise caution.
On Jan 8, the health condition of the former premier reportedly deteriorated in the jail. He was said to be suffering from high fever and headache.
