Pakistan right-hand batsman Ahmad Shahzad late Wednesday night stated that he was hit by a car while returning from the gym but remained safe.
Sharing the news on his official Twitter handle, Shahzad wrote: “This evening as I was returning home from the gym I was hit by a car … currently am at the police station filing a complaint about a “hit and run.”

Ahmad Shahzad is not currently in the national team of Pakistan as he is facing four-month ban after failing in a drug test. He is, however, included in the roster of the sixth team of Pakistan Super League (PSL) fourth edition, which was Multan Sultans last year.
