Distancing herself from her husband’s claims that credit for the first 100 days of the PTI Government goes to her, First Lady Bushra Bibi has said she has nothing to do with governance.
“Oh no I’m not letting anyone pin the last 100 days on me,” she said speaking exclusively to The Dependent.
The Prime Minister had at a ceremony to mark a hundred days of his government, said credit for the PTI’s performance went to his wife.
“Yes I know exactly what my husband said. Trust me I was as shocked as you are” she went on to say.
“I mean, I know it’s been a rough start, and I’m here to support my husband and everything, but I’ll be damned if I’m taking the flak for this.”
“The nerve of this man, trying to pin this on me, you better believe he’s gonna get a serious talking to” she added.
“I might have been involved just a little, in as far as a spouse can be, but seriously I have nothing to do with any of this”.
“You guys really need to believe me when I say, none of this is me. I swear. Please don’t let any of the blame go to me” she ended.
