A man was allegedly tortured to death by policemen in Faisalabad.

According to a local media report, the victim’s brother Ghulam Mustafa submitted a complaint at the police station stating that they were travelling in a truck when they were stopped by the police officials.

The complainant said that the police team comprising Ludianwala Police Station SHO Abdul Jabbar, Sub-Inspector Khizar Hayat and Constables Mursil Nawaz, Abdul Waheed and Shabbir stopped them and dragged Ghulam Murtaza out of the vehicle and abducted him.

As quoted in the report, Mustafa further claimed that the police officials tortured his brother in front of them and took him to Bachiana police post.
