OKARA: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and former Member National Assembly (MNA) Abid Sher Ali said that the party’s supremo Nawaz Sharif still rules the hearts of people of the country.
Talking to President PML-N Okara’s Youth Wing leader Akbar Khan who called on him here on Friday, Abid Sher Ali said that people of the district by rejecting Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in general election and re-electing PML-N candidates have proved that Okara is still the stronghold of the PML-N.
He made it clear that the PML-N will not play the role of a friendly opposition but will give a tough time to the PTI.
The PML-N will also continue to protest against alleged rigging in the recently held general election within and outside the Parliament, Abid Sher Ali added.
However, the PML-N leader said that his party would support the positive steps taken by the PTI government for the country’s development and welfare of masses.
