Every time I wanted to get married, I’m glad it didn’t happen: Kangana Ranaut

Kangana Ranaut is easily one of Bollywood’s most vocal actors. Her no-filter comments have often landed her into one controversy or another but that does not stop the actor from being fearlessly vocal.

In a recent interview with Cosmopolitan Magazine, Kangana remarked that she is happy with whatever life has given her and that she is relieved that she did not end up marrying those who she wanted to.

“I am truly happy with what I get in life. In fact, whatever I have ever wanted has been so bad for me. Like, every time I wanted to get married to someone, I’m glad it didn’t happen and after a few years, I’ve always said, ‘Thank you, God, you saved me!’. You know, that sort of thing,” she said.

Kangana also revealed that she was keen on getting into modelling because she wanted to prove herself, but life had other plans for her.

“Everything I wanted for myself, I always underestimated, in terms of the opportunities. Like, when I started out, I was only hoping to get some modelling jobs so I could show my parents that I could do it, but I was wildly rejected by the modelling world. And this has happened with so many things that I wanted. I was fighting for this house for the longest time, and when I couldn’t get it, I was crying and I was devastated only to find a house so fabulous, I wouldn’t have even thought about getting it.”

“So, now I have realise that I don’t know enough, and I just sort of leave it to God, and I feel that God is being very kind to never grant me what I really wanted,” Kangana said.

Kangana is currently busy with two upcoming projects: Mental Hai Kya with Rajkumar Rao and a film on the Rani of Jhansi.
