Around 30,000 government and private employees deployed to facilitate residents

All the government residences that by the way are located in the poshest areas of each city are worth billions of rupees. While the properties if sold can result in an accumulation of billions of rupees that can be utilised for the financing of several development projects across the country, the police officials residing here have a performance that is almost zero – a proof of which is the province’s crime rate that is increasing day-by-day.
According to details, among all the huge government residences, the one that tops the list is the Commissioner House Sargodha. Stretched at an area of 104 kanals, it is the country’s largest government residence. Thirty-three staff members have been deployed for the maintenance and security of the residence. Second on the list is Sahiwal SSP’s mansion that has a total area of 98 kanals. It is followed by the residences of the Mianwali and Faisalabad’s DCOs that are of 95 and 92 kanals, respectively.

The residences of the Rawalpindi, Faisalabad and Dera Ghazi Khan are of 20 kanals each whereas that of the Lahore DIG is 15 kanals.
