Less than one month before the highly anticipated Lux Style Awards (LSA) it has been revealed that Hassan Sheheryar Yasin (HSY) will not be directing the show.
Last year, the fashion designer and talk show host had taken over the reins of the show from Frieha Altaf, who has been associated with the show since its inception. It was reported that the Yasin was very excited about this upcoming venture and had been talking about it on various occasions.
A statement by the team of HSY read, “With this message, we want to inform you that Hassan Sheheryar Yasin will not be directing LSA 2018. His decision is due to budget constraints against his creative vision given.”
Speaking to a private media outlet, HSY stated that his vision did not match with the budget allocated for the show. Hence, he could not execute his plans within the budget given and decided to part ways.
In a tweet, HSY wrote, “Two non-negotiables for me regardless of the projects I decide to accept or have successfully completed in my 24 years in the business; integrity and respect.”
