KARACHI: Sindh Governor, Muhammad Zubair, offered the Chinese higher education institutes on Saturday to establish their campuses here in the Education City.
He made the offer in a meeting with the delegations of two prominent Chinese polytechnic institutions Binzhou and Rizhao here at the Governor House in Karachi.
The Chinese officials of the two polytechnics included Wang Xuan, Liu Yonghua, Jian Jinbo, Wenyan Li, Mou Han, Liu Zhen, Li Shenyong, Yufeng Xiangze and Fen Wang.
A spokesman for the Governor House said that the matter would also be discussed at the Education Expo to be held in the metropolis in April this year.
It was further pointed out that as a part of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), cooperation would also be extended to the Chinese universities for the holding seminars and workshops in various universities of the province.
The governor is also the Chancellor of the government-run universities of the province.
