Three robbers injured, overpowered in  North Nazimabad

KARACHI: Three robbers were injured and overpowered after a man hit them with his car when they were trying to flee after looting and injuring him in North Nazimabad on late Thursday night.

According to sources, a gang of three robbers intercepted a man, Faisal Afzaal, driving his car near Asghar Shah Ali Shah stadium, opened fire on his shoulder and looted him.  As they started fleeing on a bike, the injured man accelerated and hit them with the car, leaving them seriously injured.

Area people and police rushed to the scene and overpowered the injured robbers, identified as Anzala, 17, son of Imran Siddiqui, Farhan, 20, son of Ahmed, and Ahsan, 22, son of Asad. The detainees were residents of Paposh Nagar and Korangi areas. The injured were later shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for treatment.
