LONDON: Former prime minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N ) leader Nawaz Sharif, along with his daughter Maryam Nawaz reached Lahore on Sunday morning.

The former premier and his daughter returned on Pakistan International Airlines (PIA)flight PK758, which landed at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal Airport at 8am, and have reached Jati Umra.

Addressing the media in London before his departure for Pakistan on Saturday, Nawaz had announced that he would spearhead a full-fledged movement for the rule of law and Constitution in the country.

Sharif had been granted an exemption from appearing before the court till December 12. The next hearing is due to take place on December 19.
