City Traffic Police releases traffic plan to facilitate commuters

LAHORE: City Traffic Police has released traffic plan on Monday keeping in view the present situation across the city.

According to the plan, citizens can travel through Jail Road, Main Boulevard Gulberg, Ferozepur Road, Canal Road, Shah di Khooi, Jinnah Hospital Road, from Chauburji to Thokar Niaz Baig Chowk and Multan Road.

For those citizens who want to enter or leave city, they can use the path from Outfall Road District Court to Saggian and Al-Saeed Chowk.

Due to the closure of Shahdara Chowk, locals can cross through Old Ravi Bridge to Bund Road and then to Narang Road.

Those who wish to travel from Kasur to Lahore can pass through Steel Bagh Kasur, BRB Canal, Rohi Nala and then to Bedian Road Gajju Matah.

To travel from Lahore to Raiwind and Multan Road,  commuters can use Canal Road to Karim Block, Thokar Niaz Baig, Qizalbash Chowk, Abdul Sattar Edhi Road, Khayaban-e-Amin, Adda Plot and Pajian Chowk.

Due to the closure of Daroghawala Chowk following protests, citizens can use Canal Road via Harbanspura Interchange.

It has been directed by City Traffic Police that citizens must avoid travelling without any particular reason during these days.
