Street crime victim dies in Karachi after seven years

KARACHI: A man who was injured during a mugging attempt in Karachi, passed away in the late hours of Sunday, after being bedridden for seven years.

Umair had been shot by robbers in the backbone during a mugging attempt in a bus near KDA Chowrangi, Nazimabad, on Sept 14, 2010.

According to the family, he was declared untreatable by the doctors at that time.
