Saudi Arabia urges international community to intervene in Rohingya crisis

GENEVA: Saudi Arabia has called on the international community to intensify its efforts to stop the ethnic cleansing campaign against the Rohingya Muslims.

This was said by Saudi Ambassador to the EU Abdul Aziz bin Mohammed Al-Wasel at the UNHRC in Geneva during the interactive dialogue with a fact-finding mission on Myanmar.

Saudi Arabia also condemned the recent violence against the Rohingya Muslim minority, which has resulted in the displacement of hundreds of thousands of civilians.
