When we talk of Shaheeds, Major Shabbir was the genuine Shaheed according to the ruling of the Holi Quran – killed for a cause ie. saving the country and honor of the Nation. There are many more included in this category and their anniversaries are also celebrated even if killed for killing 'others' and drinking alcohol. We must differentiate to save the Shaheeds Rutba from the 'fake' ones.
