The Sindh Rangers arrested two target killers associated with a political party and recovered arms from their possession during a crackdown here on Friday.
According to a spokesman for the Sindh Rangers, the paramilitary force conducted an operation against criminals in Shah Faisal Colony during which two target killers stated to be hailing from group A of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) were arrested. The law enforcers also recovered weapons from the nabbed target killers identified as Zahid alias Dentor and Nasir alias Harbariya.
During preliminary investigation, Zahid confessed to having killed three people and received Rs 2,80,000 as ransom money in Ramzan which was deposited to a sector office of the MQM. Similarly, Nasir confessed to having killed four people.
