Pakistan’s Liquid Foreign Reserves reach $21.415 billion

The total liquid foreign reserves (FX reserves) held by the country stood at $21.415.1 billion on June 10.

Giving the break-up of the foreign reserves position, a statement issued by the State Bank of Pakistan on Thursday said that the foreign reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) stood at $16.546 billion while the Net foreign reserves held by commercial banks were $ 4.868 billion on June 10,2016.

The SBP statement said that during the week ending June 10,2016, SBP’s Liquid FX Reserves increased by $83 million to $16.546 billion, compared to $16.463 billion in the previous week.
